The time is ripe for the judiciary to have a Lokpal for itself. There are more than 3422 vacancies in district and subordinate courts, and 276 in the high court It is admitted that that corruption in the judiciary is rampant, and bribes for bail are endemic. It is found that CBI did get its investigation report looked over by the very officers whose decision were being probed.
