The government of India spends crores on CCTV cameras and other gadgets for surveillance of Bandra-Worli sealink and in future will do so for Metro and monorail. They should invest in technology that will improve road discipline and management of Pune Expressway. Mumbai-Goa highway and other killer stretches. The fatalities have gone up, with over 800 death on E-way and nearly 2000 on Goa highway in the past seven years - Ashok Datar - Transport Expert in TOI

Urbanism -the city dweller`s way of life-has preoccupied sociology since the turn of the century. People in cities cannot know all their neighbors as intimately as it was possible all their neighbors as intimately as it was possible for them to do in small communities. Urbanites meet one another in highly segmental roles....their dependence upon others is confined to a highly fractionalized aspect of the other`s round of activity. Kind Regards Sunder T

Environment: Take the effort to the people. Conservation by imposition is destructive of nature as well as livelihoods- witness the mining scam of goa- and thoughtless conservation, as evident by the strident protests against imposition of Project tiger elsewhere. Kind Regards Sunder T

Match fixing in India has created a history in India. Young cricket fans are jolted with news. Authorities should wake up to this reality and win back the fans and protect the IPL brand which has tremendous value globally. Kind Regards Sunder T - in Mumbai

India: Without judicial reform, one of the pillars of our democracy will continue to crumble. The judiciary must accept that independence and accountability are two sides of the same coin. The time is ripe for the judiciary to have a Lokpal for itself. There are more than 3422 vacancies in district and subordinate courts, and 276 in the high court It is admitted that that corruption in the judiciary is rampant, and bribes for bail are endemic. To raise these issues is not to devalue the respect the judiciary deserves or to prompt an assault on its independence. Kind Regards Sunder Thadani

sunderblog.blogpost.com/ India: CBI is again in the news since it has crossed the line with Coalgate. It is found that CBI did get its investigation report looked over by the very officers whose decision were being probed. This way the it is nothing but erosion of trust, exposing the very foundation of independent investigation. It is high time Indian institutions need to claw back credibility. This requires re-thinking, enhancing impartiality, and independence.A real cure is not impossible. A real incentive is Indian nation whose institutions can be trusted. Those who try to understand God through the intellect alone, arrive at some cold and dry concept which misses the very essence of divine nature. It is true that God is infinite knowledge, existence, power and bliss, but true understanding comes from knowing His essence as infinite love. Kind Regards Sunder T

Despite its warts, India's democracy has fired global imagination for over six decades. If India had been another underperforming tin-pot dictatorship, it would not have been the thought experiment it is today. This is what Dipankar Gupta said in TOI on mar.30`13 page 18, col;3-7 Kind Regards Sunder T

Your Own Man in Mumbai – open to any tie-up, to any mutual benefit, or understanding with YOU or with your company, to promote, export s of goods or services. http://blogzsunder.wordpress.com/ Hi, I am Sunder Thadani. I am on the Net since 1999. I wish to introduce myself as a consultant who is staying in Mumbai, and know the place as palm of his hand. Mumbai is the mega-metropolitan island city, with more than 16 million citizens of 437 square miles of land. Today, Mumbai commands a unique position of being the Financial, Economic, and the Commercial capital of India. She also contributes more than 40 percent to the federal of India revenue. Mumbai is famous as the gateway [or entry point] to India. English, being the official communication medium, the business becomes a pleasure. What you need is a link with a local resident virtual agent, who knows the place, and who can save your time and money when you are planning your presence in this beautiful city as an outlay for your goods and services. During last two years India has changed. Lethal combination of stalling growth and persistent inflation has taken a toll on consumers. A telltale sign of a spending squeeze is a cut down in non-essential, discretionary expenditure. India fiscal deficit is still 4.8% of GDP in 2013-14. More pain coming for consumers in 2013 and after. Kind Regards sunderkt at gmail dot com

The more frequently you allow the Self to manifest, greater the possibility of it being active for longer duration. Gradually, the way is paved for the Self to become fully functional. Nonetheless, acting from the higher Self does not make things different; rather we start seeing things differently, eventually enabling ourselves to transcend duality. Kind Regards Sunder T

In India two days bund in Feb`13 was to published "anti-people" policies of the govt.Citizen are allowed to to voice their grievances. But that can not translate into violation of the rights of the citizen to go about their business freely. People were affected in whole of India by stalled transport, banking and other essential services besides being menaced by violence. One should remember that democracy can not brook strikes that intimidate citizen and use force to influence policy making. Kind Regards sunderkt at g mail dot com
